Grief is often experienced physically as well as emotionally. Yoga supports the journey through any type of grief or loss by easing stress, breathing out physical and emotional pain and encouraging self-care. This class is suitable for all levels and will include breath work for grounding and release, simple vinyasa flow and deeply restorative poses. Participants are encouraged to bring an item such as a photograph of a loved one for a group altar.
The instructor, Lisa Smith Fiegel, is a RYT 200 with the Yoga Alliance and an ordained minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Participants will be invited to utilize their own spiritual practices and traditions toward healing. Preregistration is encouraged but not required by emailing email@example.com.
